OUR FOUNDER

Heather did not always have a great relationship with food. Raised by strict, health-conscious parents, she lived by a highly restrictive and controlled regimen of clean, scratch-made food prepared by her mother. Growing up as a competitive swimmer, and having access to coaches and nutritionists, only added fuel to her diet-obsessed fire.

She developed orthorexia in her teens.

Post-college, after rotating through unsustainable stints of veganism, paleo, and Whole30, she decided to change her approach. Through the slow process of developing a healthier relationship with her body, and the food that fueled it, she adopted intuitive eating.

Juicing piqued her interest as a way to ensure that she received a daily dose of fresh vitamins and minerals without having to stress about when and where she would get them.

The benefits ensued. Although eczema plagued her throughout her life, she found significant improvement in her skin and was able to forgo prescription creams after she started juicing regularly. Additionally, her digestion improved and she was even able to eliminate caffeine from her diet thanks to newfound energy.

Two daily juices have become a staple in Heather’s routine and have helped her stay consistent with her health and wellness goals throughout the years.

Outside of all things Le Reset, you can find Heather skiing, traveling, or doing pilates. She also enjoys eating fries.

Our philosophy

Le Reset was created for two reasons:

  • To help others reach their health and wellness goals in a convenient, fresh, and sustainable way
  • To emphasize the importance of mindfulness as an integral part of holistic wellbeing.

At Le Reset, we believe that the art of consumption is equally as important as what we consume. With a holistic view of health in mind, we encourage our customers to slow down and take a mindful minute, in the capacity of their choosing, while sipping our beverage.

Le Reset’s philosophy sees food as something that nurtures our body and is part of a healthy self-care routine. As a token of love and appreciation for our body and everything it does for us, we find joy in feeding it well.

Our juices and shots are intended as a daily mind and body health practice.

“Discipline is not about perfection. Discipline is about continuity.”

WHAT'S IN A NAME?

"Le" pays homage to Heather’s time in Europe, specifically France. She was inspired by her favorite farmer's market in Annecy, France, as well as the French food culture where mealtimes are honored and everyone slows down to savor the experience.

"Reset" is a nod to the way we hope to make mindfulness synonymous with the consumption of our beverage. Customers can reset the intention or focus of their day, no matter the time, by taking a moment to slow down.
